Any of you who says you haven’t missed it is lying. I know, some of us thought of it as tedious or rote, but a year without it was like a year without Santa Claus. It just doesn’t compute and makes you realize what you’ve missed.

The age-old tradition of standing in 115* heat while your kids ride the Zipper (or more recently, when you get to sit down in the ice station 2 years ago. Remember that?!) is Paso Robles and its history at its finest. The sights, the smells, the comradery, the connections – all of that pulls every resident together in a way that very few things do.
