Calling all cocktail lovers! The Distillers of SLO County are celebrating the Paso Robles & SLO Distillery Trail with a (spirited) weekend of events, August 21-22. Each distillery location along the SLO County Distillery Trail will be showcasing their spirits with a range of unique experiences such as building craft cocktails, local eats & treats, music and opportunities to win ‘Distillers of SLO’ swag! Grab your DD and come thirsty. 

ABOUT

SLO County has been known as a wine destination for decades, but recently the art of craft distilling has started a movement along the Central Coast. The area is now home to over a dozen distilleries with more planned to open over the next year. From San Luis Obispo to Paso Robles, distillers are producing a variety of small batch artisan spirits, including all your favorites - whiskey, gin, rum, brandy, vodka, and liqueurs. After the highly-successful first-ever Trail Weekend was held in August of 2019, the Distillers of SLO are excited to open its doors again and showcase the best spirits the central coast has to offer.

DAILY EVENTS

In celebration of Trail Weekend, each of the following distilleries will provide a special experience for their customers including food, beverage, live music, tours, raffles, and more. Listed below are the daily features for each distillery.

• Autry Cellars - Offering spirit tasting all weekend long.

• Azeo Distillery - Charcuterie plates and complimentary Azeo Glass offered with your tasting.

• Bethel Rd. Distillery - Bethel Rd. Kitchen will have paninis and fresh salads Saturday & Sunday. Live Music with Noach Tangeras Band, on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.

• Calwise Spirits Co. - Spirit and artisan cheese pairings by Vivant Fine Cheese. Free distillery tours at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. 10% discount on all bottle purchases during the event weekend.

• Donati Spirits - Street Tacos paired with various vodkas, including clear, barrel aged and infused flavored vodkas. Donati wines offered by the glass.

• KROBAR Craft Distillery - Offering spirit tasting all weekend long.

• Pendray's Distillery - Santa Maria BBQ featuring a menu of  smoked Tri-tip, Pourtuguese Linguica, grilled veggies, and garlic bread.

• Re:find Distillery - Charcuterie plates & special event weekend Cocktail.

• Red Soles Distillery - Celebrating Mardi Gras in August! Kings Cakes flown in fresh from New Orleans. Charcuterie plates and wine by the glass available for purchase. Live music with Billy & Charlie Foppiano from Noon till 4:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday.

• Rod & Hammer's SLO Stills - Wood-fired pizzas and full menu at The Rock, plus 10% off bottle purchases for trail goers. Live reggae music on Sunday.

• Willow Creek Distillery - Wood-fired pizzas, salads, meat & cheese platters, and Opolo wine by the glass. Featuring a weekend special barrel aged cocktail.

• Wine Shine & Tin City Distillery - Local Tin City food trucks, craft cocktail building classes, and distillery tours with the owners.
